Live Consultations and Classes
If you are doing a live consult or taking a live class with Merien you won't need to do much. She uses Zoom software to conduct all her live consults and classes.
To prepare for a consultation or class you will need to download the "Meeting Client" or plug in from Zoom (link below to the plug-in list). You DO NOT need to set up an account or download the full software suite.
Follow the link below and download only the plug-ins for the devices you wish to use for consults. You can use any device with a mic and a camera. Tablets, smartphones and laptops are all fine.

What to do for a consult/class:
1. Download the client/plug in.
2. Receive the link for the meeting on whatever media or email account you requested.
3. Click the link when it arrives and the window will open.
4. Remember to unmute YOUR audio. The software automatically mutes incoming attendees in the event a meeting is in progress.
5. Conduct the consult, meeting or training as if you would if you were there in person.
If you have issues getting the plug in downloaded Zoom customer service has various options to contact them for assistance.
The beautiful thing about Zoom is since it is a paid service (by Merien) there is no advertising, time outs or data mining of your machines or devices. The software is encrypted and safe.
